JUNE, 2007 – David E. Belfort obtains $2M jury verdict
David E. Belfort, of Corrigan, Bennett & Belfort, P.C., was co-counsel in a case that secured the largest Massachusetts discrimination verdict of the year when a Berkshire Superior Court Jury found Walmart responsible for discriminating against and defaming our client, Cindy Haddad. The lengthy two week trial ended on June 19, 2007 with a $2,000,000 verdict, which included a $1,000,000 punitive damage award.

JUNE, 2007 – Todd J. Bennett is appointed to a third term as MBA Civil Litgation Section Counsel member
Corrigan, Bennett & Belfort, P.C. is proud to announce that Todd Bennett was re-appointed for a second year as a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) Civil Litigation Section Council. The Section Council is a committee within the MBA that serves the membership by getting involved in initiatives to improve the litigation system in Massachusetts. The Section Council meets to discuss current laws and policies relating to the civil practice of law and to recommend improvements in order to foster a more equitable yet efficient justice system.
